HIGHLIGHTS
• Emergency Relief Coordinator calls for unhindered and sustained access to provide much needed assistance to all vulnerable people across the country.
• The Government reports that the total estimated number of IDPs in Rakhine reached 115,000 people, including over 36,000 newly displaced in late October.
• Up to 75,000 people are estimated to have been displaced by conflict in Kachin and northern Shan States which started in June 2011.
